Infant of Diabetic Mother(IDM):

Rx:

• Diet-EBF
  
• NOP Suction stat & sos
  
• 02 inhalation stat & sos
  
• Keep the baby warm
  
• Apply Hexicord (7.1% chlorohexidine) around umbilicus stat

inj.K-one MM

• 1/2 ample I/M stat OR
• 1 ample orally stat &  3rd & 28th days.

if Day-1

1. inf.Dextropac-10 (according to wt-not less then 100ml)

• I/V ...microdrop/min

inj.ampicillin(Ampexin)(250mg/2.5ml)

• wt/2 ml (100mg/kg/day) I/V stat & BD

inj.Ceftazidime(cefazid)(250mg/2.5ml)

• wt/2 ml I/V stat & BD(100mg/kg/day)

if blood glucose : < 1.4 mmol/l

then give 

inf.10% DA(Dextropac-10) I/V bolus

• 2ml/kg stat

Monitoring blood glucose: 

 maintain CBG chart( 72 hours monitoring )

• 30 minutes
• 2 hours
• 4 hours 
• 6 hours 
• 12 hours 
• 18 hours 
• 24 hours 
• 36 hours 
• 48 hours 
• 72 hous 

উপদেশঃ

• যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব বাচ্চাকে বুকের দুধ খাওয়ানো শুরু করতে হবে। 
  
• দেড় মাস বয়স থেকে বাচ্চাকে টিকা দিবেন। 
  
•  ৬ মাস পর্যন্ত বাচ্চা কে শুধু মাত্র বুকের দুধ খাওয়াবেন। তবে কোন ওষুধ লাগলে খাওয়া যাবে।
