Neonatal Septicemia(LONS/EONS)

Septicaemia(LONS/EONS):

Rx(hospital):

• Diet-NPO
  
• NOP Suction stat & sos
  
• 02 inhalation stat & sos
  
• Keep the baby warm
  
• Apply Hexicord (7.1% chlorohexidine) around umbilicus stat

if Day-1

1.inf.Dextropac-10 (according to wt-not less then 100ml)

• I/V ...microdrop/min

if Days -2 or more

2.inj.Electrodex-10(according to wt-not less then 100ml)

• I/V ...microdrop/min

3. Inj.Kacin(Amikacin)(100mg/2ml) 

• 0.15 × ml (15mg/kg/day) I/V stat & BD

4. inj.Ceftazidime(cefazid)(250mg/2.5ml)

• wt/2 ml I/V stat & BD(100mg/kg/day)

During Discharge from hospital :

Loracef(Cefaclor) P/D 

• 5-8  drops ...TDS...7 days

উপদেশঃ

• দেড় মাস বয়স থেকে বাচ্চাকে টিকা দিবেন। 
•  ৬ মাস পর্যন্ত বাচ্চা কে শুধু মাত্র বুকের দুধ খাওয়াবেন। তবে কোন ওষুধ লাগলে খাওয়ানো যাবে।
