Inspection

Procedure of inspection ::- 

• 1. Ask the patients to lie supine with shoulder horizontal .
• 2. Inspect the chest for any abnormality and look for and identify any pulsation.

Points of inspection precordium: 

• 1. Visible pulsation = apex beat or any other pulsation .
• 2. Venous engorgement
• 3. Any swelling or not 
• 4. Any deformities /scar mark 
• 5. subcostal /intercostal resscitation 
• 6. Supra clavicular pulsation
