Clinical Features:
- 1)visibly deformed or out-of-place shoulder.
- 2)Swelling or bruising.
- 3)Intense pain.
- 4)Inability to move the joint.
Investigation:
- 1)BMD(body mass index)
- 2)X-ray shoulder joint
- 3)Serum calcium
Rx:
1. Tab.Naprox(500mg) (Naproxen)
- 1+0+1…...(after meal)..7 days (if pain)
2. Tab.Myloax/Lexaton(50mg) (Tolperisone)
- 1+1+1…….10 days(after meal)
3. Cap.Sergel(Esomeprazol) (20mg)
- 1+0+1……10 days
4. Tab.Rivo(0.5mg)(clonazepam)
- 0+0+1…...10 days
5. Physiotherapy: Neurodynamics
Reduction of shoulder dislocation under sediation with arm sling for 7 days
Prevention:
- Take care to avoid falls.
- Wear protective gear when you play contact sports.
- Exercise regularly to maintain strength and flexibility in your joints and muscles.
