causes:
- 1)FUNGAL INFECTION
- 2)bacterial infection
- 3)seborrheic dermatitis
Clinical Features:
- Ear pain.
- Itching and irritation in and around your ear canal.
- Redness and swelling of your outer ear and ear canal.
- Feeling of pressure and fullness inside your ear.
- Scaly skin in and around your ear canal, which may peel off.
INVESTIGATION:
It,s a clinical diagnosis
Rx:
1. Tab. Deslor(Desloratadine)(5mg)
- 0+0+1... ..10 days
2. Tab. Voltalin Forte (Diclofenac )(50mg)
- 1+0+1.....5 days(if pain)
3. Tab.pantonix(pantoprazol) (20mg)
- 1+0+1........10 days.
4. Tab.Rivo(clonazepam)(0.5mg)
- 0+0+1……….15 days
5. Polycort(Hydrocortisone + Neomycin Sulphate + Polymixin B) ear drop
- 3-4ফোটা আক্রান্ত কানে দিনে ২ বার.....৭দিন(কাত হয়ে শুয়ে ড্রপ দিয়ে আঙ্গুল দিয়ে চেপে ধরে রাখবেন ৫ মিনিট)
6. Fungidal-HC(Miconazole Nitrate + Hydrocortisone) cream
- কটনবাডের সাথে লাগিয়ে কানের ভিতরে লাগাবেন দিনে ৩-৪ বার.....৭দিন
Advice:
- গোসলের সময় কানে তুলা ব্যবহার করবেন।
- সাতার কাটা যাবে না।
- হাচি কাশির সময় মুখ খোলা রাখবেন।
Prevention:
- Keep ears as dry as possible.
- Turn your head from side to side after getting out of water.
- Don't stick anything into your ear canal.
- Don't swim in polluted water.
- Do not swallow the water you swim in.
