Subconjunctival Haemorrhage

Clinical Features:

• 1)Patients are usually asymptomatic 
• 2) Hemorrhagemay be flat, and thin or may appear as a thick collection of blood 
• 3) Common visual manifestation is a intense red patch with comparatively normal surroundings 
• 4) There may be mild irritation in the eye 

Slit-lamp examination shows: 

• 1)Precise location of the hemorrhage 
• 2)View of the sclera may be hidden by  blood. 

investigations:

• 1)CBC 
  
• 2)BT, CT ,PT, APTT
• 3)protein S 

Rx:

• Usually Remove spontaneously 
  
• Warm compression may helpful 
  

1. Lubrex eye drop (artificial tear)

• ১ ফোটা আক্রান্ত চোখে দিনে ৩/৪ বার...... ১০/১৫ দিন 

ব্যাথা থাকলে 

Nepagen 0.1% eye drop (nepafenac)

• ১ ফোটা আক্রান্ত চোখে দিনে ২ বার... ৫/৭ দিন. 

Advice: 

• Use sunglasse 
  

Prognosis: 

• Good.
