Uveitis:
The type of uveitis you have depends on which part or parts of the eye are inflamed:
- Iritis (anterior uveitis) affects the front of your eye.
- Cyclitis (intermediate uveitis) affects the ciliary body.
- Choroiditis and retinitis (posterior uveitis) affect the back of your eye.
- Diffuse uveitis (panuveitis) occurs when all layers of the uvea are inflamed.
Clinical Features:
- Blurred vision
- Dark, floating spots in the vision (floaters)
- Eye pain
- Redness of the eye
- Sensitivity to light (photophobia)
Rx:
1. Tab. Cortan(Prednisolone) 20 (mg)( খাবার পর)
- 1+0+1...........7 days Then
- 1 +0+1/2.......7 days Then
- 1+0+0...........7 days Then
- 1/2+0+0........7 days
2. Cortisol(prednisolone) eye drop 1%
- 1 drop affected Eye 6 times daily ...........7 days Then
- 1 drop affected Eye 4 times daily ...........7 days Then
- 1 drop affected Eye 3 times daily ...........7 days Then
- 1 drop affected Eye 2 times daily ...........7 days
For pain:
Tab. Voltalin Forte (Diclofenac) (50mg)
- 1+0+1...........3-5 days
Tab.Maxpro (Esomprazole)(20mg)
- 1+0+1...........10 days
if eye irritability distrub sleep:
Tab. Sedil(diazepam)(5mg)
- 0+0+1....... 5-7 days
