Atonic Bladder:
flaccid or acontractile bladder, refers to a bladder whose muscles don’t fully contract. This makes it hard to urinate.
Causes:
- spina bifida
- diabetic neuropathy
- multiple sclerosis
- traumatic injuries, such as a hard fall or collision
- long or difficult vaginal childbirth
- pelvic surgery
- enlarged prostate
- pelvic tumor
- urethral stricture.
Clinical Features:
- Overflow incontinence

Rx:
Non Surgical:
- Plan catheter
Surgical :
- 1)Supra-pubic catheter
- 2)Urinary diversion
- 3)Cystoplasty
