Haematuria

Clinical Features:

• 1) painful or painless blood with urine
• 2)LOwer abdominal pain
• 3)renal angle tenderness
• 4)nausea & vomiting

 Investigation:

• 1)usg of W/A
• 2)Urine RME 
• 3)serum creatinine 
• 4)coagulation profile
• 5)CBC 
• 6) Blood grouping & Rh typing

Rx:

1.  Tab. Furotil(Cefuroxime ) (500mg)

• 1+0+1....... 7 days
  

2. Cap. Xamic(Tranexamic acid) (500mg)

• 1+1+1......3 -7 days
• (After exclude renal stone to prevent clot retantion which causes hydronephrosis)
  

3. Tab. Voltalin (diclofenac)(50mg)

• 1+0+1( ভরাপেটে)....3 days(ব্যথা হলে খাবেন)
  

4. Tab. Sergel(esomeprazol) (20mg)

• 1+0+1...... 7 days
  

উপদেশঃ

• To prevent infections, drink plenty of water daily, urinate immediately after sexual intercourse, and practice good hygiene.
  
• To prevent stones, drink plenty of water and avoid excess salt and certain foods like spinach and rhubarb.
