Clinical Features:

  • 1)Pain, a burning feeling, or a tired feeling in the legs and buttocks when you walk.
  • 2)Shiny, hairless, blotchy foot skin that may get sores.
  • 3)The leg is pale when raised (elevated) and red when lowered.
  • 4)Cold feet.
  • 5)Impotence in men.
  • 6)Leg pain at night in bed.

  • 2)Lipid profile
  • 3)vascular usg

Rx: 

1. Tab.Carva(aspirin)(75mg)

2. Tab.Rosu(Rosuvastatin)(5mg)

3.Tab.Cilosta(Cilostazol)(100mg)

  • 1+0+1...... .continue

4. Tab.Oxifyl CR(400mg)(pantoxifyline)

  • 1+1+1.....2 months

5. Cap.Sergel(Esomeprazol)(20mg)

  • 1+0+1....(30 min before meal).......continue


Walkings programme for claudication :

  • 1)Walking until you feel moderate pain or as far as you can.
  • 2)Resting to relieve pain.
  • 3)Walking again.
  • 4)Repeating the walk-rest-walk cycle for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • 5)Walking three or more days a week.

Surgery:

  • 1)Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty.
  • 2)Bypass surgery.
  • 3)Atherectomy
