Protocols
Clinical Features:
- 1)Bulging or lump on the skin up to several centimeters in diameter
- 2)Fatigue
- 3)Fever not associated with flu symptoms
- 4)Fluid leakage from the carbuncle, which may crust over
- 5)Itching feeling
- 6)Severe discomfort or pain
- 7)Spread of infection
- 8)White or yellow centers in the carbuncle (pustules)
Investigation:
- 1) swab for c/s
- 2) CBC
Rx: if pus
- Incision & drainage of pus then,
1.Cap.Phylopen-DS(Flucloxacillin) (500mg)
- 1+1+1+1......7 days
2. Tab.Ceevit(250mg)(ascorbic acid)
- 1+0+1......10 days
3. Tab.Maxpro (esomeprazole)(20 mg)
- 1+0+1.......5 days (খাবার ৩০ মিনিট আগে)
if pain, then
Tab.Flexi(aceclofenac)(100mg)
- 1+0+1.....(after meal)..... 3-5 days

- পারসোনাল হাইজিন মানতে হবে।
