Protocols

Clinical Features:

  • 1)Coldness in the lower leg or foot, especially when compared with the other side.
  • 2)Leg numbness or weakness.
  • 3)No pulse or a weak pulse in the legs or feet.
  • 4)Painful cramping in one or both of the hips, thighs or calf muscles after certain activities, such as walking or climbing stairs.
  • 5)Shiny skin on the legs.



Risk Factor:

  • 1) over age 50
  • 2) overweight
  • 3) abnormal cholesterol
  • 4)history of cerebrovascular disease or stroke
  • 5)have heart disease
  • 6)diabetes
  • 7)a family history of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or PVD
  • 8)high blood pressure
  • 9)kidney disease on hemodialysis

Investigations:

  • 1)Serum lipid profile 
  • 2)RBS
  • 3)coagulation profile 
  • 4)LFT 
  • 5)ECG
  • 6)Echo 

Rx:

1.  Tab. Trental(Pentoxifylline) (400mg) 

  • 1+0+1... ..continue

2. Tab. Pancil(100mg) (cilostazol)

  • 1+0+1.......continue

3. Tab. Sergel(Esomeprazol) (20mg) 

  • 1+0+1....(খবার ৩০ মি আগে)...14 days

4. Tab. Denver (cefixim) (200mg)

  • 1+0+1.......7 days

5.Tab. Torax(ketorolac)  (10mg)/ Diclofen (50mg) ব্যথা থাকলে

  • 1+0+1

🎴S.N: প্রেসার/ডায়াবেটিসের ঔষধ আগের মত চলবে।


Prevention:

  • If you are a smoker, quit smoking.
  • Work to control your blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Follow a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet and eat more fruits and vegetables.
