Cellulitis

Clinical Features:

• 1)irritated area of skin that tends to expand.
• 2)Swelling.
• 3)Tenderness.
• 4)Pain.
• 5)Warmth.
• 6)Fever.
• 7)Chills.
• 8)Spots.

Investigations:

• 1)CBC
• 2)RBS
• 3)serum creatinine 

Rx:

• Diet: Normal
  

1.  Inj. Oricef (1gm) (ceftriaxone) 

• 1 vial..... I/V.... BD

2.Inj. Phylopen (500mg) (Flucloxacillin)

• 1 amp..... I/V..... 6 hourly

3. Inj. Torax (30mg)(Ketorolac) 

• 1amp 1/M..... BD/ TDS

4. Inj. Seclo (40mg) (omeprazole) 

• 1 vial I/V..... BD

5. Tab/Supp. Napa (500mg) (if fever)

Special note:

• 1. পা বালিশের উপরে রেখে উচু রাখতে হবে।
• 2. If abscess formed: Incission & Drainage
• 3. If in Foot- Foot bath -TDS/ QDS
