Vaginal Hysterectomy (VH)

Protocols

Pre Operative Order:

1.Diet: NPO Before 6 Hours of OT.

2. Inf. Hartsol (1L)

  • I/V stat @20d/min.

3.  Inj. Ceftron 2gm/ceftriaxone

  • (1 vial I/V Before OT)

4. Inj. Pantonix 40mg/Pantoprazole

  • (1 vial I/V Before OT)

5.inj.Viset (Tiemonium) (5mg/2ml)

  • 1 ample ....I/V stat & sos (if pain)


  • Keep ready 1 unit FHB with Donor.
  • Please Take informed written consent.
  •  Please Clean & Shave Operative Area
  • Send the patient to OT on time


1.Diet: NPO, TFO(Till further order)

 

2.Inf.Hartman (1L) + Inf.5%DNS(1L) + Inf.5%DA (1L) ….I/V 30 drop/min.

 

3. Inj.Ceftriaxone (1gm) … 1 vial I/V ….BD 

 

4. Inj.Esomeprazole(40mg) …1 vial I/V ….BD

 

5.Inj.Filmet(metronidazole) (500mg/100ml)…1 bottle I/V….stat.& TDS

 

6.Inj.Ketorolac(Rolac) (30mg)….1 ample I/M OR I/V stat & TDS 

OR 

Inj.Anadol (100mg/2ml) ….1 ample I/M OR I/V stat & TDS

 

 

7.Nalbun-2 …1 ample I/M stat 

OR 

Inj.Pethidine(100mg/2ml)…..1 ample I/M stat

With 

Inj.Vergon (12.5mg/ml) …1 ample …I/M stat 

 

8.Voltaline suppository (50mg) ….1 stick Per rectal –SOS

 

9.Monitor all Vitals…any abnormality then call doctor

10. contineous catheterization  

 

 

 

 

 

Fresh Order of VH:

1. Diet: Sips of water → Liquid to soft Then Normal.

2.  Inj. Ceftron 2gm/Ceftriaxone

  • 1 vial I/V ....Daily

3.  Tab. Filemet 400mg/Metronidazole 

  • 1+1+1

4.Tab. Torax 10mg/Ketorolac

  • 1+1+1..... (A/M)

5. Cap. Nexcap 20mg/esomprazole

  • 1+0+1 (B/M)

6.Tab. Ceevit 250 mg/vit-C

  • 1+0+1

7.Supp. Voltalin 50mg/Diclofenac

  • 1 stick P/R sos


  •  Continious Catheterization 3 days.
  • Keep Drain Tube untill collection is nill.

If bleeding increase:

 Inj. Traxyl 500mg/Tranexamic acid

  • 1 amp I/V TDS

If Constipation:

 Syp. Avolac/Lactulose

  • 4 চামচ..... ৩ বার 

If constpation not relief:

 Supp. Glysup 2.3 mg

  • 4 stick P/R stat & sos


Discharge of VH:

1. Cap.Denver (200 mg)/Cefixime

  • 1+0+1........7 days

2. Cap.Esonix (20 mg)/Esomeprazole

  • 1+0+1.......10 days( খাবার ৩০ মিনিট আগে)

3. Cap.Flustar (500 mg)/Flucloxacillin

  • 1+1+1+1......7 days

OR

Cap. Qcin (300mg)/Clindamycin

  • 1+0+1...........7 days

4.Tab.Rolac (10 mg)/Ketorolac

  • 1+0+1....3 -5 days ( ভরা পেটে)

5.Tab.Rivo(0.5mg)/Clonazepam

  • 0+0+1…...15 days

6.Tab.Ascoson(250mg)/Ascorbic acis

  • 1+0+1….10 days


উপদেশ/Advice:

  •  ৩মাস ভারী কাজ করবেন না। 
  • আগামী........... তারিখে সেলাই কাটবেন।
