Protocols
Clinical Features:
- 1)Pain. Affected joints might hurt during or after movement.
- 2)Stiffness. Joint stiffness might be most noticeable upon awakening or after being inactive.
- 3)Loss of flexibility.
- 4)Grating sensation.
- 5)Bone spurs.
- 6)Swelling.
Investigation:
- 1)CBC with ESR
- 2)Urine RME
- 3)Serum creatinine
- 4)Serum ALT
- 5)X-ray affected joints
Rx:
1.Tab. Sonap([post id="455" title="Naproxen"]) (500mg)/Cap.Indomet SR (75mg)
- 1+০+1 (after meal)...…..15 days
2.Tab. Beklo (10mg)// lexaton (50mg)/Relentus(2mg)
- 1+1+1 (after meal).........10 days
3. Tab. Joinix
- 1+0+1............1 months
3.Tab. Sergel ([post id="392" title="Esomeprazole"])(20mg)
- 1+0+1... (30 min before meal )...….15 days
4.Voligel gel দিনে ৩ বার ব্যথা থাকলে লাগাবেন
If female Patient:
- 1+০+1…..2 month
If knee joint & 1st CMC jOINT :
inj.Trialon (triamcinoloine) (4mg/ml)
- 1 vial intra-articular ...every 3 monthly upto 1 year
Surgery:
if not responding to above treatment then
- Osteotomy
Advice:
- 1) Physiotherapy
- 2) ভারী ওজন বহন করা যাবেনা।
- ৩)হাই কমোড ব্যবহার করবেন।
- ৪) উচু নিচু জায়গায় উঠানামা কম করবেন।
- ৫) সমতল জায়গায় হাটবেন।
Prevention Osteoarthritis:
- Keep a healthy body weight. Extra weight puts stress on your joints.
- Control your blood sugar. High blood sugar levels raise your risk of getting OA.
- Be active every day.
- Exercise is a good way to prevent joint problems.
- Prevent injury to your joints.
- Pay attention to pain.
