Clinical Features: 
  • very severe ,unilateral ,non throbbing pain
  • Nausea & Vomiting 
  • peri-orbital & recurrent 
  • lacrimation 
  • nasal congestion


Duration: 30min-3 hours

Others: Horner's syndrome

Rx:
  • Counselling 
  • High Flow oxygen inhalation (10-15L/min) by face musk / headbox

  • 3+3+3........3 days 
  • 2+2+2........2 days 
  • 1+1+1........3 days 
  • 1+0+1........3 days 
  • 0+0+1.......3 days 

2.

  • Tab. Voltalin-D ([post id="448" title="Diclofenac-Sodium"])...1+0+1......3-5  days

OR 

  • Tab. Flexi ([post id="454" title="Aceclofenac"])(5mg) ...1+0+1.......3-5 days 

3. Cap. Sergel ([post id="392" title="Esomeprazole"])(20mg) .....1+0+1......15 days 


Lifestyle and home remedies:

  • Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Cluster periods can begin when there are changes in your normal sleep schedule. During a cluster period, follow your usual sleep routine
  • Avoid alcohol. Alcohol consumption, including beer and wine, can quickly trigger a headache during a cluster period.
