Clinical Features: 

• Lancinating type Facial pain 
• Pain is unilateral 
• Pain aggravating by talking ,chewing.touching ,washing & cold weather 

Investigation: 

• RBS 

Rx: 

1. Tab. Amit ([post id="477" title="Amitriptyline"])(10mg) 

0+0+1......3 months 

2. Cap.Pregaba([post id="498" title="Pregabalin"]) (25 mg) 

0+0+1.........7 days then 

1+0+1.......3 months 

3. Tab. Neuro-B 

1+0+1.............3 months 

If not improved :

Tab. Carbazine CR (200mg) 

0+0+1........3 months 

If no response : 

• Decompression of vascular loop -90% success rate
• Injection of alcohol or phenol into a peripheral branch of nerve 

Advice:

• Follow-up after 1 month
