Protocols
Clinical Features:
- Very fast (rapid) heartbeat.
- A fluttering or pounding in the chest (palpitations)
- A pounding sensation in the neck.
- Weakness or feeling very tired (fatigue)
- Chest pain.
- Shortness of breath.
- Lightheadedness or dizziness.
- Sweating.
Investigation:
ECG--1)absent P wave, 2)Regular rhythm,3)Narrow QRS complex,4)High Heart rate([post id="347" title="ECG-details"])
Rx:
- Complete Bed Rest.
- 02 inhallation 4L/ min
- maintain I/V chennel
- contineous cardiac monitoring
- Valsalva's maneuver
- Carotid sinus message
1.Inj.[post id="476" title="Diazepam"] (Sedil) 1 amp I/V-stat.
2. Inj. Osiden(6mg/2ml)(adenosine) 2 amp IV stat rapidly
3.Tab. Angimil (verapamil)(40mg/80mg) ১+১+১…চলবে
If not improve:
- Inj. Veracal(verapamil) (5mg/2ml) 1amp IV slowly (over 5-10 min)
If not response:
- DC shock/ Referred
