Clinical Features:

  • 4)Slight fever and chills
  • 5)Chest discomfort.


Investigations:
  • 1)CBC
  • 2)CXR PA view


Rx:

1.bed rest

2.plenty water

3.stem inhalation with menthol

4.Tab.[post id="401" title="Azithromycin"](Zithrin/Zimax)(500mg)

০+০+1 .…..5 days

OR

 Tab.[post id="402" title="Amoxicillin"](Moxacil/moxin)(500mg) 1+1+1....7 DAYS


5.Tab.Napa Extend([post id="449" title="Paracetamol"]) (665 mg) 1+1+1( if tem >100°F).....5 days

6.Tab.[post id="542" title="Rupatadine"](Rupa)(10mg)/Tab.Fexo([post id="541" title="Fexofenadine"])(120mg)

0+০+1....15 days

if Cough:

Syrp.Adovas ২চামচ ৩ বার.....৫ দিন

 

নাক বন্ধ থাকলে/Nasal blockage:

Oxymetazoline(Afrin)(0.05%) nasal drop ...3-4 drops each nostril TDS...10days


Advice:
  • Drink fluids but avoid caffeine and alcohol.
  • Get plenty of rest.
  • Increase the humidity in your home or use a humidifier.
