Amoebic dysentery(Adult)
Protocols
Clinical Features:
1) offensive Diarrhoea alternating with constipation and blood & mucus in the stool
2) Abdominal pain (Rt sided)
3) Fever
4) Anorexia
👉👉👉Must pt এর dehydration status দেখতে হবে Severe dehydration হলে hospital রেফার্ড করতে হবে।
Investigations:
1) urine R/M/E - trophozoite containg RBC
2)serum electrolyte
3) ICT for Entamoeba histolytica
4)Sigmoidoscopy- Flusk shape ulcer
5)Usg of Whole abdomen
Rx:
1. Diet: পর্যন্ত পরিমান পানি খাবে, ডাবের পানি খাবে।
2. ORS+500 ml water - প্রতিবার পাতলা পায়খানার পর পরিমান মত যতটুকু খেতে পারেন।
3. Tab.Filmet([post id="406" title="Metronidazole"])(400mg)
2+2+2......5-10 days
অথবা, OR
Tab.T-zol(Tinidazol) (500mg)
4 tab stat then next day থেকে
1+0+1........5 days
অথবা, OR
Tab.Ornid (Ornidazol)(500mg)
2+0+2......3 days
🏵️🏵️উপরের যেকোন একটার সাথে,
Tab.Diloxide(diloxanide furoate)(500mg)
1+1+1......10 days
Advice :
- তরল খাবার খাবেন।
- personal hygiene practices করবেন।
