Oral Candidiasis/Thrush

Clinical Features:

• White patches on the inner cheeks, tongue, roof of the mouth, and throat 
• Redness or soreness.
• Cotton-like feeling in the mouth.
• Loss of taste.
• Pain while eating or swallowing.
• Cracking and redness at the corners of the mouth.

D/D: 

• Geographical Tongue

🗒️Rx:

1. Micoral gel ([post id="468" title="Miconazole"]) ....3/4 times daily ......14 days 

2. Nystat Oral solution([post id="687" title="Nystatin"]) ...15 drop 4 times daily ....14 days 

if no improvement 

3.1%Viodin mouth wash.([post id="467" title="Povidone-Iodine"])

১ চামচ + গ্লাস পানিতে মিশিয়ে কুলি করবেন দিনে ৩-৪ বার.......৭ দিন

4. Tab.Rupa ([post id="542" title="Rupatadine"]) (10mg) ....0+0+1..........14 days 

if recuurance

1. Flugal ([post id="554" title="Fluconazole"])(50mg) ...1+0+1......14 days 

Prevention:

1.keeping the lips dry.

2.treating an underlying condition.

3.practicing good oral hygiene
