Clinical Features:
- Sycosis Barbae is a common subacute or chronic pyogenic infection of the hair follicles of the beard.
- Sycosis barbae occurs only in males after puberty.
🏮Rx:
1.Retabac Ointment ([post id="524" title="Mupirocin"])
দিনে ২ বার..... ৫-৭ দিন ( মুখ ভালো করে পরিষ্কার করার পর ব্যবহার করবেন)
if ictching :
1.Togent ointment ([post id="611" title="Diphenhydramine"]) ...দিনে ২-৩ বার... ৫-৭ দিন
2.Tab.Rupa(10mg)([post id="542" title="Rupatadine"])....০+০+১....৭ দিন
if Folliculitis is severe
Cap.Flustar(500mg)([post id="405" title="Flucloxacillin"])......১+১+১+১.....৭ দিন
Advice:
- Softening the hair with hot water before shaving.
- Shaving with the grain of the hair, not against it.
- Using a shaving gel or cream.
- Shaving every other day, rather than daily.
