13.Balanitis

Balanitis is a treatable condition that most commonly happens in uncircumcised males.

The main symptoms of balanitis include inflammation and pain on the head of the penis.

☑️Pain and irritation on the glans (head of the penis).

☑️Redness or red patches on the penis.

☑️Itching under the foreskin.

☑️ Swelling.

☑️ Areas of shiny or white skin on the penis.

☑️ White discharge (smegma) under the foreskin

☑️ Foul smell.

☑️ Painful urination

1.Maintain Personal hygiene

2. Afun/Clotrim(Clotrimazole 1%) cream

দিনে ২-৩ বার.......... ১০-১৫ দিন। ( Glans penis এ এবং Foreskin ভালো করে use korbo)

♻️if Balanitis due to sexually transmitted Disease then oral Antibiotics may use according to cause.

♻️ If itching use

Togent cream ([post id="611" title="Diphenhydramine"])

দিনে ২-৩ বার.... ৫-৭ দিন।

♻️If inflammation is more use antifungal with steroid.

Neosten HC ( Clotrimazole+ 1% hydrocortisone)

2-৩ বার..... ৭ দিন

♻️Surgical : বার বার repeated balanitis হলে circumcision করে নিতে হবে।

Advice:

☑️avoiding the use of perfumed or deodorizing products on your penis

☑️completely drying the penis after you shower

☑️gently pull back your foreskin and wash the area with warm water.

☑️if you use condoms, choose condoms for sensitive skin.

☑️wash your hands before peeing or touching your penis.
