74. Angular Cheilitis/stomatitis

Clinical Features:

1. Most common in immunocompromised patients

2. Red ,painful lesion in both angle of mouth

D/D: 

• Oral candidiasis

🗒️Rx:

1.1%Viodin mouth wash.([post id="467" title="Povidone-Iodine"])

১ চামচ + গ্লাস পানিতে মিশিয়ে কুলি করবেন দিনে ৩-৪ বার.......৭ দিন

2. Micoral gel ([post id="468" title="Miconazole"]) ....3/4 times daily ......14 days 

3. Facid cream([post id="540" title="Fusidic-acid"]) ...2 times daily .....14 days 

4. Tab.Riboson ([post id="680" title="Riboflavin"]) ..2+2+2........1 months 

5. Tab.Rupa ([post id="542" title="Rupatadine"]) (10mg) ....0+0+1..........14 days 

if not improved 

Trialon oral paste([post id="606" title="Triamcinolone"]) ...3 times daily ...2-4 weeks 

Prevention:

1.keeping the lips dry.

2.treating an underlying condition.

3.using lip balm./petroleum jelly. 

4.practicing good oral hygiene
