69. Cold Sore

Clinical Features: 

• Tingling, itching or burning feeling. 
• Small fluid-filled blisters appear. 
• Blisters can appear anywhere on the face. 
• Blisters burst and crust over into a scab.

D/D:

• Hand foot mounth disease

(its self limiting disease,its resolve within 7-10 days)

🗒️Rx:

1. Drink adequate fluid 

2.Virux ([post id="612" title="Acyclovir"]) cream ....5 times daily ....7 days .

  Advice:

• avoid acidic or salty foods and eat cool, soft foods.
