Clinical Features:
1. Crusty lesion with hair loss
2.Boggy swelling with discharge over scalp
3.Pain & tenderness present
4. common age >14 years
D/D:
- Seborrhic dermatitis
- Impetigo
Treatment:
🗒️Rx:
1.Syrup.Furotil ([post id="400" title="Cefuroxime"])(125mg/5ml)
20 mg/kg/days ....2 times daily ....7 days➡6-12 month:১/২ চামচ ২ বার ➡1-3 year: ১ চামচ ২ বার
➡4-5 years: 1.5 চামচ ২ বার |
2. Syrup. Sinamin ([post id="531" title="Chlorpheniramine"])( (2mg/5ml)
Average dose: ➡6-12 month:১/২ চামচ ২ বার ➡1-5 year: ১ চামচ ২ বার ➡6-10 years: 1.5 চামচ ২ বার |
2 times daily ......2 month

Tab.Xfin ([post id="555" title="Terbinafine"]) (250mg) ...0+0+1..........6 weeks
OR
Cap.Itra ([post id="556" title="Itraconazole"]) (100mg) ........0+0+1......6 weeks
4.Nizoder shampoo ([post id="553" title="Ketoconazole"])daily to wash affected area.... 2-3 months
(মাথা সহ অন্য জায়গায় অল্প পানি দিয়ে ফেনা তৈরি করে ১০ মিনিট রেখে ধুয়ে ফেলতে হবে।)
