12. Tinea Pedis

Treatment Tinea Pedis :

1. Tab.Xfin ([post id="555" title="Terbinafine"]) (250mg) + 

Afun cream ...3 times daily....6 weeks

..1+0+1…14 days then 0+0+1…6 weeks

OR

 Cap.Itra ([post id="556" title="Itraconazole"]) (100mg) +

Xfin cream([post id="555" title="Terbinafine"]) ...2 times daily ....2 month 

..1+0+1…14 days then 0+0+1…6 weeks

if itching:

Tab.Alatrol ([post id="533" title="Cetirizine"]) (10mg) 0+0+1........1 month 

OR

Tab.Xyril (10mg) ....1+0+1......1 months 

  If any Secondary infection:

Tab.Furotil plus([post id="400" title="Cefuroxime"]) (500mg)

…1+0+1….7 days

Prevention:

1.Keep feet clean, dry, and cool.

2.Avoid using swimming pools, public showers, or foot baths.

3.Wear sandals when possible or air shoes out by alternating

 them every 2-3 days.

4.Avoid wearing closed shoes and wearing socks made from

fabric that doesn't dry easily (for example, nylon).
