Clinical Features:
1.Intense Itching at night
2.Burrow present.
3.Same symptoms present in others family members or friends.
Site of Scabies :
1)Inter-digital clefts
2)Anterior Axillary fold
3)Flexor Aspect of forarm &elbow
4)Areola& Nipple
5)Genitalia & buttock
6)umbilical & peri-umbilical region.
Causes:
Sarcoptes Scabiei
D/D:
1.Atopic Dermatitis(family history+Recurrent history)
2.Prurigo Simplex
Scabies Treatment:
📝Rx:
1. Isolation patients
2.Wash & Cleaning cloths ,bed shit
3.Treat others family member who have no symptoms
4.Medications:
For Child:
1. Scabex([post id="529" title="Permethrin"]) cream /Lorix plus([post id="530" title="Permethrinplus"]) lotion cream
- 1-5 year:Apply 1/4 th tube
- 6-12 years: Apply 1/2 tube
- > 12 years: apply full tube
Whole body (Head to toe)and wash after 12 hour,Repeat after 7 days..
2.Syrup.Histacin ([post id="531" title="Chlorpheniramine"])(2mg/5ml),1/2 TSF .....7-10D days
If severe itching:
3.Calamine([post id="532" title="Calamine"]) lotion ,apply 2/3 times .
For Adult:
1. Scabex([post id="529" title="Permethrin"]) cream /Lorix plus([post id="530" title="Permethrinplus"]) lotion cream
(রাতের বেলা গোসলের পর মুখ ও মাথা বাদে সারা শরীরে এই লোশন লাগাবেন,
৮-১২ ঘন্টা পর সকাল বেলা হালকা গরম পানি দিয়ে গোসল করবেন।
পরিবারের সকল সদস্য একসাথে একই নিয়মে বাব্যহার করবেন।
ব্যবহার্য সকল কাপড় চোপড় ভালো করে সাবান দিয়ে ধুয়ে ফেলবেন।
লেপ তোষক রোদে দিবেন। একই নিয়মে ৭ দিন পর এই লোশন ব্যবহার করবেন।
2.Tab.Zinal/Atrizin/Alatrol([post id="533" title="Cetirizine"]) (25mg) 0+0+1.…….10 days
Or
Tab.Xyril ([post id="534" title="Hydroxyzine"])(10mg) ... 1+0+1.........10 days
If Itching :
💊 Miclo/Ezex([post id="535" title="Clobetasone"]) ointment দিনে ২ বার চুলকানির স্থানে লাগাবেন.....১৪ দিন।
Or
Calamine ([post id="532" title="Calamine"]) lotion ,apply 2/3 times
🔆যদি গত ৩ মাসে Anti - helminthic না পেয়ে থাকে তাহলে

1. Wash well with soap before applying lotion/cream. Bathe again 12 hours
after applying the
lotion. Do not wash hands/feet/body with water/soap in between.
2. The articles used by the patient (pillow covers, bed sheets, blankets, clothes, etc.)
should be washed in hot water and dried in the sun and ironed.
3. Everyone
in the house should receive the same treatment at the same time.
4. It is an infectious disease. So someone else will avoid sitting on the patient's bed
and
the patient will also avoid sitting on someone else's bed.
